Set in the heart of the Dovedale Valley, surrounded by Dove Crag, Hart Crag and Fairfield with Brotherswater only a 15 minute walk away, this site is well located for an outdoors adventure in the Lake District. Offering stunning views from your pitch or pod, this site is a favourite with adventurous families, walkers, climbers and ramblers. The site offers various pitches, for tents there are non electric grass pitches and various hardstanding pitches for campervans, motorhomes and caravans with electric hook ups. The site also has three cosy, dog friendly camping pods to save you the hassle of pitching a tent, sleeping up to two adults and three children. The pods are unfurnished, so you will still need to bring all of your camping gear, but there is lighting, underfloor heating, and electric sockets with USB ports. There are also five electric hardstanding pitches that are exclusively for Caravan and Motorhome Club members. There is also the 'bunkhouse' onsite which offers room for between two to six people, ideal for families and large groups. You will also have access to basic cooking facilities, storage facilities, a private toilet and shared showers. Centrally located in the Lake District you will be just 20 minutes from both Windermere and Ullswater, great for mooching around charming villages or a day spent on a boat or hiring a paddleboard! The site is dog-friendly, however, staff ask that dogs are kept on a lead and under control to protect local sheep. Also, please note that groups of more than six adults are not permitted. Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a raised fire pit. These must be extinguished by 11pm.
