Excellent campsite with all the facilities you could want and more, kept immaculately and spotlessly clean. The location is amazing in a beautiful village with two pubs and very quiet. We will return.

Amazing place, everything you need on site. Shop with very good pricing, very clean toilets and showers, games room for the kids and a laundry room. They also had a breakfast van and a pizza van at weekends, all good prices. It was lovely to see the peacocks roaming around. 2 lovely pubs within walking distance, lovely staff and very friendly. Would definitely stay there again, the kids loved it.

We took our grandson here as his first taste of camping and he loved it. It was an ideal introduction for him and he had loads of fun with all the fun day activities.

Best caravan site with everything you need. Great site, children's playground, on site shop, games room and well looked after toilets and washrooms. Very well run and know the needs of campers. We visited last year and returned again for their amazing events that they put on. All had brilliant time, even if weather was a little cold and windy! Accessible, well run campsite which is ideal for families

We took our grandchild away for a weekend break and the campsite more than lived up to what we needed. Loads of safe space to run and play, a handy shop for those forgotten essentials, animals to entertain us and clean, well stocked bathroom facilities. Would definitely stay here again

From the warm welcome to the concern that another (young) group might cause disturbance, the management of our stay was first class. The facilities were kept in top condition all day and were more than adequate for a very comfortable stay. The adults only shower block was a great idea. The location would be hard to beat and the weather was warm and sunny during our stay. An ideal location for walking Stanton Moor and enjoying the views, ancient monuments, along with the Summer birdlife. I would thoroughly recommend this campsite.

A nice break away. Campsite is nice and two lovely little pubs very close. Nice walks near by and thankfully the weather was great. Toilets and showers clean although shower did not really get warm and the hair dryer in the shower block did not work. Really nice to see the peacocks and alpacas. The peacocks are your alarm to waking up on the site which I loved. Duke of Edinburgh were in the field opposite but were really no bother at all. Overall a pleasant stay.

Barn Farm Campsite is an excellent site in a beautiful location with gorgeous views across the Derwent Valley. on arrival, the staff were friendly and informative. During our stay, all the staff were busy keeping the site looking great, but were always pleasant and friendly. Adult showers were a bonus and kept very clean in fact the whole site was kept in great order without feeling restricted. We had our Cocker spaniel with us and he was also made very welcome, the only place dog aren't allowed is the toilets and shop, which is understandable. I'd recommend local walks and both pubs, I'd also recommend booking ahead as they're very popular. The campsite staff offer information on all sorts of things in the local area from maps to menu's for the pubs. I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful campsite, we'll definitely be returning.

Great family campsite, with lovely child's park on site. The staff clearly kept the facilities as clean as possible. Fantastic facilities and a perfect location, right next to some lovely walks, and pubs on the doorstep.

Beautiful site. Lovely facilities. Hard standing pitches could be made more level. Considering the number of DofE people on site they do a fantastic job of keeping it clean.

We have been coming here for the last 3 years as the "Sumer Hillside Meet" in our camper vans. 21 vans this year. The staff are welcoming and the facilities are always clean and well provisioned at all times. There is a small shop onsite that is very well stocked with everything you may need (or forgotten to pack) The staff are very informative and helpful. Two pubs a short walk away with the Druids being our choice for food except on a Sunday when the Red Lion an amazing lunch. The Duke of Edinburgh use the big fields but you wont notice them, early to bed - early to rise and they clean up after themselves. Paying guests have their own facilities so no waiting for the students to leave. Plenty of easy walking in the area, the circular walk to the Nine Ladies is our favourite, passing two pubs on the return.

An idyllic location, really well kept fields, lovely clean facilities. Just a note for anyone considering staying - there are around 5 peacocks are can be a bit loud at times and can be heard until the sun goes down and start again when it comes up. It wasn't a problem for us, they're lovely to see.

Big campsite area. We stayed in the family field, which was medium sized and uneven. Nice play area. Washrooms and pot wash areas cleaned regularly. Took us a while to find the family bathrooms as they are not signposted. Lots of noisy peacocks.

We have stayed at the campsite previously, but found our favorite pitch this time. Fingers crossed it's always available!! Some great walks directly from the campsite. A busy weekend for the campsite, but we were always able to use the facilities. Very clean site.
